Samsung is the top choice and rated for Android phones. Many people in Nigeria want Samsung phones, but not everyone can afford them. That’s why I go in search of the best affordable Samsung phones all around Lagos, Abuja, and Port-Harcourt in Nigeria so everyone can afford them.

Samsung A23 5G – N210,000 Naira In Nigeria

My test result about the Samsung A23 5G was a great choice for an affordable Samsung phone. It works well, has a nice screen, good cameras, lasts a long time on a charge, and gets regular updates. The updates are important because they keep the phone working well for many years. Plus, it’s made with strong Gorilla Glass 5 which is the inbuilt protection so I don’t think you need a screen guard,  it’s unlikely to break easily and even better, a 25W fast charger fully charged the device in just 80 minutes my charging test. However, you willl need to purchase the charger separately. Here are the specification below.

Samsung A14 5G – N174,000 Naira In Nigeria

Samsung A14 5G performed really well in my tests. The main camera took good pictures in bright light, it worked smoothly for everyday tasks, and the battery lasted for up to 48 hours uptime. But the best part is Samsung’s promise of updates: this phone will get security updates for five years and Android version updates for two years. Is also listed as one of the most affordable Samsung phones in Nigeria.

The phone makes some compromises, especially with the materials used and the quality of the speaker. But you can fix these problems by getting a case and using headphones (it has a headphone jack). It only has 64GB of storage, but you can add a memory card.

Samsung A54 5G – N230,000 Naira In Nigeria

The Samsung A54 5G’s three-camera system impressed us, especially the main camera. It took clear, sharp photos in my tests, but Samsung’s habit of making colors too bright was a downside. The extra ultrawide and macro lenses aren’t super useful, but they do add a bit more flexibility.

I think it’s one of the best all-around smartphones you can get, is also affordable here in Nigeria. And with Samsung’s promise of five years of security updates, this phone will keep working well for you until 2028 and even longer if you are very careful with it.

Samsung S23FE 5G – N295,000 Naira in Nigeria

The Samsung S23FE 5G  looks like Samsung’s top-of-the-line Galaxy S23 series on the outside, with a big 6.4-inch screen that refreshes at 120Hz and feels fancy. Some of the materials used to make it are similar to those used in cheaper Samsung phones, like Gorilla Glass 5. It might not be as tough as the more expensive Samsung models but is not expensive.

The S23 FE isn’t flawless. Sometimes it slows down due to heat, and the battery doesn’t last very long. Its cameras aren’t as good as the regular S Series models, but they’re the best you can get in the Galaxy family. If you’re fine with using wireless charging to boost it on busy days, it’s almost like having a top-of-the-line phone without paying a fortune.

What To Consider Before Buying A Samsung Phone In Nigeria

Best gaming Samsung phones are among the list above you can buy, but there are a few things you should consider before buying a smartphone in Nigeria.

Camera

When talking about cheap phones, it’s usually best to ignore any extra camera lenses. Usually, only the main camera gives good results, while the extra ultrawide and macro cameras have lower quality. But if you don’t care much about cameras, this won’t matter to you.

5G Network

Even though many of the devices i have mentioned above can connect to 5G, you might not need it depending on where you live and how you use your phone. If you mostly use data at home or live in a rural area, you can save money by getting a phone that only connects to LTE.

RAM

You need to consider Ram storage choosing from 6GB RAM and above so it can perform all daily task wothout crashing.
